Name over every (other) name

Phillipians 2.9:

NWT - For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name,

KIT - διὸ (through which) καὶ (also) ὁ (the) θεὸς (God) αὐτὸν (him) ,(put high up over) καὶ (and) ἐχαρίσατο (he graciously gave) αὐτῷ (to him) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) τὸ (the) ὑπὲρ (over) πᾶν (every) ,(name)

Analysis

Look carefully, what does the Greek say

Now look at the English

​

It’s as simple as that

​

God’s word proclaims boldly and clearly that Jesus has the name above EVERY name

 

That doesn’t fit with Watchtower theology, and so they have ADDED the word OTHER

 

This is manipulation of the Word of God to fit their own Theology

 

What are the intentions of this translation therefore? Try to think for yourself.
